Junior Property Manager (Residential, Industrial & Commercial)

This role is designed to grow into a licensed property manager position, offering hands-on experience and development within a collaborative team.

You will become a key member of a small but expanding team, trusted to manage your own tasks and make decisions day-to-day. Because we are growing quickly, the role offers the chance to take on increasing responsibility over time, shape operational processes, and develop into a more senior position as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management & Administrative Support

  • Maintain a well-organised and well-stocked office environment.
  • Coordinate couriers, deliveries, and signing logistics across company entities.
  • Act as point of contact for external professionals (solicitors, accountants, contractors).
  • Manage document filing, digital records, and general correspondence.
  • Support in scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars for senior staff.

Property Management Assistance

  • Respond to tenant emails and calls under the guidance of senior property managers.
  • Assist with logging, scheduling, and following up on maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Conduct or support property inspections and viewings as required.
  • Maintain records of tenant communications, lease documentation, and compliance materials.

Operations & Reporting Support

  • Assist the Head of Operations with internal reporting, accounting tasks, and data entry.
  • Support document preparation, reconciliations, and follow-ups for property and finance operations.
  • Learn and apply internal systems such as Yardi and Notion.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to understand contracts, leases, and basic financial reports.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the property management industry.
  • A drivers licence.

Desirable

  • Previous office or administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with property management systems or CRMs.
  • Interest in pursuing a PSRA license and a long-term career in property management.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Produce recurring reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Take notes and feedback on reports, ensuring comments are effectively implemented and reflected in the data.
  • Check and reconcile data for accuracy by cross-referencing against alternative sources of truth.
  • Proactively design new reports, systems, and dashboards to improve business intelligence.
  • Contribute to external reporting for lenders, investors, and regulators.
  • Work extensively across Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and data systems such as Yardi Voyager 7S, AccountsIQ, and Notion.

Ad-Hoc Operational Support

  • Provide ad-hoc assistance with bookkeeping, accounting, and property management operations where required.
  • Assist with general IT administration, including Google Workspace, company domains, websites, and other technology-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to understand basic financial and operational reports and cross-reference data meticulously.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the property and alternative investment industry.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in data management and system integrations.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with property management systems, CRMs, or accounting software, especially Yardi Voyager 7S or AccountsIQ.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, HTML, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Interest in solving problems using AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
  • Experience with basic software integrations, no-code tools, or building APIs.
